Green Bubble = Left On Read

Every iPhone user can agree that if you are texting someone and the bubble is green the conversation is over, almost immediately. iPhone users don’t like texting Android users. Gifs don’t work right, photos come through fuzzy, you can’t react to their messages and that’s just the beginning of the list of issues.

Last week, Google launched a marketing campaign asking Apple to fix this. They created a website called “Get the Message” and it urges people to reach out to Apple through social media and ask them to fix “broken group chats”, according to Richard Nieva at Forbes. Google claims that there is no reason for errors to exist and that Apple is just refusing to adopt modern texting standards. Sounds just like a complaint an Android user would have, huh?

So far, Apple has not come out with a statement or plans to change green to blue.
