Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to provide meaningful, efficient, and actionable results to stakeholders through the power of data analytics. This individual will gain in-depth knowledge of our Mobile application business and work with our internal teams to improve user engagement and experience and make recommendations to drive profitability. Additional responsibilities and opportunities include data cleansing and manipulation, database management, ETL process execution, automation development, and visualization creation.

Where You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Improve the effectiveness of decision-making for product development, user acquisition, and design elements through relevant analytics, planning, and reporting.
  • Track, analyze, and measure relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
  • Analyze and process large datasets using SQL which may include data cleansing and manipulation
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses utilizing SQL to extract data on a regular basis for relevant business cases
  • Develop new data tables and visualizations where necessary to improve visibility into specific areas of the business
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, vlookup)
  • Experience working with large datasets and ETL frameworks
  • Experience working with data querying platforms and visualization software including but not limited to BigQuery and Looker Studio
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data analytics results and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative – the ability to work cross-functionally with internal & external teams including Product, User Acquisition, & Creative to share best practices and inform testing initiatives
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment - exhibiting an enthusiastic, flexible, and innovative approach
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Possesses high attention to detail and quality
